The Nest at Brannon Ridge Reserve offers a modern spin on traditional cabin living. Located in scenic Young Harris, Georgia, the all-solar community comprises luxurious modern cabins with thoughtful, efficient designs that anyone would be lucky to call home. And calling it home is as easy as purchasing a lot and choosing your build plan.

Currently, the community offers more than 20 lots for sale, ranging from 3/4 acre to over two acres. And each lot either boasts breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains or plenty of wooded privacy that will make it easy to unplug, relax, and connect with nature.

Once you pick out a lot, you can choose from four different build plans: The Sparrow, Finch, Wren, or Starling. The Sparrow plan is the smallest, offering two bedrooms and two bathrooms within 1,040 square feet. If you're looking for something a bit bigger, you can opt for The Starling, the community's largest plan, which spans 1,487 square feet and offers your choice of two or three bedrooms. And if you need even more space, you can optionally put any of the four cabin plans on a basement, which will add on two bedrooms and an additional bathroom.

All of the cabin plans feature thoughtful, modern touches, like walls of windows that bring views of the mountains right into your living room and soaring ceilings that provide an expansive, fluid feel. The cabins are also built with sustainability in mind, using local labor and locally sourced materials, as well as native landscaping. Additionally, the cabins feature passive and active solar designs, natural ventilation, and abundant insulation for increased energy efficiency.

After you decide on a lot and a plan, you can choose from a variety of finishes and upgrades to make the cabin your own. For instance, you can opt for granite or quartz countertops and pair them with solid wood, shaker style, or modern flat slab European cabinetry. And for light fixtures, you can go with a designer-curated package or use your plan's allowance to incorporate alternate fixtures of your choice.

In addition to customizing your fixtures, you can optionally add upgrades to your cabin home's build, like full solar power, a buried propane tank, and a screened-in porch. Other upgrades include watcher catchment systems, linear propane fireplaces, and standing seam metal roofs.

The Nest cabin homes start around $400,000, going up from there depending on the size, finishes, and customizations you choose. Head to The Nest to learn more and reserve your spot in this idyllic community.
